Kuttu Ka Dosa Recipe | Navratri Dosa Recipe – is a Buckwheat Crepes made form Kuttu Ka Atta ( Buckwheat Flour ), Arbi, spices and water. Serve Kuttu Ka Dosa with Aloo.

This is a quick and easy recipe which does not compromise on taste. This is a Navratri Special Dosa recipe is gluten-free and vegetarian, which is very healthy and gives you enough and needed energy boost while fasting.

For Potato Filling:
  • Boiled Potatoes – 3 nos
  • Ghee – 1 to 2 tablespoons
  • Salt to taste
  • Red chilli powder – 1/2 teaspoon
  • Turmeric powder – 1/2 teaspoon
  • Chopped Ginger – 1/2 teaspoon
For Kuttu Ka Dosa:

  • Buckwheat Flour – 5 tablespoons
  • Boiled Arbi ( Colocasia ) – 2 tablespoons
  • Salt to taste
  • Ajwan – 1/2 teaspoon
  • Red chilli powder – 1/2 teaspoon
  • Chopped ginger – 1 teaspoon
  • Green Chillies chopped – 1 teaspoon
  • Ghee as required

How to make Kuttu ka Dosa Recipe step by step process:

Preparing Potato filling:

  • Rinse the potatoes and Arbi in water and bring them to boil.
  • Peel the potatoes and mash them to a finely.
  • Heat ghee in a pan on a medium flame and potato mash.
  • Now add red chilli powder, salt, ginger and turmeric powder and mix all the ingredients well.
  • Saute the potato mixture for few mins until it becomes light yellowish-brown colour.
  • Take it off the flame and keep it aside.
Preparing Kuttu ka Dosa Recipe:
  • Add the boiled Arbi in a mixing bowl and mash it finely.
  • Now add buckwheat flour to the mashed arbi and mix it very well.
  • Add ajwain, red chilli powder, chopped ginger and green chillies.
  • Mix all these ingredients very well and start adding water little by little.
  • By adding little by little water and stir in one direction till the batter turns into a smooth flowing consistency.
  • You can also ferment and make fermented buckwheat dosa.
  • Heat ghee in a flat dosa pan on a medium flame.
  • Pour a ladle full of batter and spread it evenly in a circular motion.
  • Cook for few mins and spread little more ghee around the edges to make it a crispy dosa.
  • Now flip the dosa and cook it on the other side.
  • Add some potato filling on top of the dosa and fold the dosa over it.
  • Kuttu Ka dosa is ready to serve with coconut chutney.
